Rules

• Submit prompts by commenting a quote of your choice. The source may be a book, a speech, song lyrics, a movie line, popular tweets, memes, etc.
  There is no hard rules regarding the quote's length but please don't put the entire work in a single prompt.
  
• It CAN NOT be taken from a private conversation or another fanwork.
  Quotes from other Sportsfest participants or yourself are NOT allowed either as the intentions can be easily misunderstood or create an exclusionary environment through private jokes.
  
• Prompting images is allowed but it MUST include a transcript of the text/description of the image for accessibility.
  
• Please give credit to the author of the quote whenever possible.

Format

Required Work Minimums:

• 400 words (prose)
  
• 400px by 400px (art)
  • Traditional art is also allowed with a good quality photo/scan
• 14 lines (poetry)
  
• Playlists - 5 song minimum with artists. Link to either a video playlist, or each song separately. Be sure to warn for content in the music videos, and you may find linking to lyrics helpful. You may also write an explanation of why you chose each song.
  
• Moodboards - 9 photo min, source all photos, and no fanart allowed (unless it's your own)
  
• Fake Social Media - 4 images min
  
• If you’d like to use a different medium, please contact the mods if you have any questions about minimum requirements.

Being active on Twitter in fall of the year two thousand and eighteen is, for lack of a better term, a complete fucking nightmare. Well, for most people, at least.

As with all broad statements, there are exceptions. And this exception is just about the most exception-like of all exceptions. There is such an apparent dichotomy from the experience of this one,singular twitter user and every other person on the planet, that this exception almost makes the initially presented statement completely evanesce.

Such an exception comes in the form of Shouyou Hinata, Alumni of Karasuno High School, and current member of the MSBY Black Jackals volleyball team.

What makes him such a compelling exception, you ask? What on Earth, Pluto, and within all of the galaxies, black holes, and unidentified space objects in the universe could possibly make Hinata Shouyou so different from the average 2018 twitter user? Well, that answer comes in the form of a cat. Kageyama Tobio’s cat, to be precise.

This cat comes in the form of a certain… online persona, to put it discreetly. It’s extremely popular, and well known for its enrapturing gaze and ability to lull other Twitter users into a state of absolute placated awe. Hinata Shouyou is aware of this, on some level, which is why he takes advantage of such a cat in the best way possible. (Completely objectively speaking.)

When he’s over at Kageyama Tobio’s apartment, (which is all too often, considering the fact that they are certainly not romantically involved. Or… are they? It is difficult to tell between the two of them. Also objectively speaking) Hinata Shouyou takes pictures of said cat, and edits them to be posted online.

The cat’s name is something along the lines of Fluffy, or Snowball, or Fluffycakes, which is why Shouyou uses these images under an alias: Peepee the cat. He makes an account specifically for the account, and waits for the results to come in.

Peepee the cat’s reception, in the first months, were not anything to write home about. Of course, the account gets retweeted by a fair number of accounts, especially considering the lack of followers Peepee’s account has.

So, Hinata Shouyou invents Peepee speak. It takes a while to get used to at first, but the long, exaggerated ellipses in the middle of tweets and phonetic spelling of traditionally easy to spell words certainly made it stand out among the rest of them on the timeline.

One day, the Peepee account posts something simple, elegant, and stunning.
