Rules

Submit prompts by commenting any three words of your choosing! This can be a phrase or a list of words. Example:
- I love you
- Home, keys, together
- Let them go
Fill prompts by creating fanworks inspired by all three words, or only one or two! The choice is yours.
Prompts can be in any language as long as you provide an English translation!
You cannot earn points by filling your teammate's prompts or your own! (That said, we won't stop you from doing so for fun!)
You must use the prompt/fill headers below, and you cannot leave any line blank nor delete a line! If this is your first time participation please read over our Bonus Round Guidelines.

Youichi’s only a couple of weeks into this whole college thing, but he’s got to admit - it might not be so bad.

Yeah, sharing a room with Miyuki is less than ideal. It’s not like Youichi’s unused to sharing a room - living with Sawamura for two years taught him more about personal space and living with people fundamentally different than himself than he’d ever care to admit. But living with Miyuki requires a different level of skill - the bastard goes to bed at nine thirty most nights, and wakes him up at the ass crack of dawn, even during the off-season. Which has been terrible for his sleep cycle.

He’d keep Miyuki awake longer, if he didn’t fear that Miyuki would get back at him in ways he couldn’t even begin to imagine. But still… the boredom is really getting to him tonight. Youichi can’t even think about sleeping until midnight - what the hell is he supposed to do before then? Scroll through social media? (Boring, if not what he usually opts for.) Catch up on the Seidou LINE group chat, that’s filled with way too many of Furuya’s polar bear stickers and sleeping pictures of Sawamura? (Seriously, Kuramochi had to see that guy sleep every day for two years - can the current Seidou roster get more creative with their blackmail?) Play video games with the volume turned all the way down? (Half the fun of playing brainless video games is the music!) Study???

(That last one is seriously not. Gonna. Happen.)

It’s as Youichi tries to come up with more (equally boring) silent ways to fill the void in his soul that a notification comes from Ryousuke.

The two of them had… drifted apart a bit, since Youichi’s graduation. Ryousuke hadn’t been there - too busy with night practices at his university at the time - but they’d called every now and then. Occasional texts weren’t too peculiar from him, but it’d been a few weeks since they’d last spoken, so Youichi had thought…

He glances at the message before he can fill in the blank.

Ryousuke: this reminded me of you

Youichi’s heart pounds.

There was always the issue of Youichi’s unreciprocated crush during high school, flitting in the back of his mind at moments like these. When he’d confessed to Ryousuke - not so much outright as it was confusing, and awkward, and doomed for failure because Ryousuke was literally three days away from moving halfway across the country. But Ryousuke had… rejected him, Youichi thinks, even if neither of them made their intentions very clear.

This does nothing to explain the anticipation Youichi feels at the thought of something from Ryousuke. Is it… heartfelt? Well, there was only one way to find out -

Please keep filling my prompts with Daiya fics! Especially when they're gems like this one. There are so many great little details in this. My favorite might be Kuramochi complaining about the Sawamura sleeping pictures. Lol. I'm also all about the nervousness of reconnecting with someone and it's pulled off so well here. (I also may have tried to bleach my hair blonde back in college...so it really hits home. Haha.) Thank you for the fill!
