Bonus Round 4: Caps

Got a favorite scene from a manga, TV show, webcomic, movie, anime, etc.? Time to pull out your screencaps, manga caps, or comic caps to prompt something fun!

This bonus round will close on August 17th, 2018 11:59PM PT (23:59 PT). [COUNTDOWN]

This Round is CLOSED. It is perpetually open for new fills.

Rules

For this round, you may prompt any cap from any original video- or comic-based narrative. This includes anime, manga, cartoons, TV shows, movies, music videos, Western comics, webcomics, web series, and even documentaries. Narrative-related game screencaps are permitted. For example, you can post a cap of character dialogue, or a cap from a cutscene, but not a screenshot of a character wandering the in-game map or fighting a randomly-generated monster.

Upload the caps somewhere (such as Imgur, PostImage, or TinyPic) and post here with the images themselves or a link to them.

You may also use officially released art from qualifying sports animanga.

You can post up to three caps per prompt.

You are required to provide the name of your cap’s source media. For free online media like webcomics and webseries, we also encourage you to provide a link to the source material. If linking, please warn for content of the source, as applicable.

Please do not prompt caps from any fanworks. We want to respect fanworkers’ control over where their work is posted.

For video-based media, including subtitles in your cap is optional. That said, please do not include fake subtitles. (Please do not post GIFs)

We recommend linking to significant spoilers rather than directly posting them, as if you're posting a NSFW cap (replace the image code in the textarea with a link). However, this will not be enforced by the mod team and it is up to your discretion to decide what qualifies as a significant spoiler or not, considering that the caps are largely out of context.

Including descriptive text for caps is encouraged, but not required. If you do choose to include it, please include the text below the prompt image.

If you're not sure if a given media series cap qualifies, please feel free to ask!

General Rule Reminders

Remember that your header must ALWAYS include AT LEAST one fandom in the “fandom” section. Prompts that write “any” in the fandom section will not be counted for points.

All prompts must come from a nominated fandom.

Please be sure to fill out all lines of the header (even with “None” or “N/A,” so we can count your prompts/fill for points.) If you leave a line blank we don’t know if it was intentional or a mistake, and cannot count it for points.

EXPLICITLY NSFW PROMPTS must be posted to the after-hours comm. “Explicitly NSFW” means that the prompt includes outright sexual content (whether in a photograph, drawing, or in words), and prompts that in the additional requests are asking for explicit fills. Prompts are posted with the same HTML format, in the same manner as a SFW prompt, just under the designated post for that Bonus Round in the after-hours comm. NSFW Fills

All NSFW fills must be posted in the corresponding Bonus Round post in the After Hours community. If filling a prompt that has been posted on the after-hours comm, simply reply to that prompt. If filling a SFW prompt, let the prompter know by replying to the original prompt on the main comm with a link to your fill on the corresponding after-hours Bonus Round Post. Please do not use the Fill subject line or Fill header when cross-linking. This will cause the BR scorer to count your fill twice.

Scoring

The scoring for bonus rounds depends on the number of people (n) on your team. You’re welcome to make as many prompts and fills as you like!

For prompts: 5 points per prompt, limited to 5 times the number of team members (5n)

For fills, where (n) = number of members on you team:

First 5n fills: 20 points each
Fills 5n to 10n: 10 points each
Fills 10n to 15n: 5 points each
All fills after 15n: 2 points each

We’ve changed the expected workload for Bonus Round Fills! The new recommended workload is 12 fills per member for Gold, 8 fills per member for Silver, and 4 fills per member for Bronze. The scoring post has been updated to reflect this (and other changes made to scoring! We’ll be releasing a Halftime update post in the near future with all the changes made thanks to your feedback!)

Kurokochi!!!

The first time he called me that I was completely taken off guard. Up to that point, I was almost certain that he hated me, but apparently, all he needed was to work with me in a game. I complained the whole way back to school but he wouldn’t let up on that nickname no matter how I tired. At the time I was convinced it as just his way of picking at me for tricking him into hanging out with the regulars and then making him pay for the whole thing. So I just left it along figuring that he'd tire of it soon.

Kurokochi!!

We’d been teammates for a year and I knew I should’ve stopped him in the beginning, but at least I wasn’t alone now. With the exception of Haizaki -and I honestly don’t blame him- all of the regulars were stuck with his ridiculous nicknaming habits. He did fit right in with Murasakibara and Momoi at least when it came to the nicknaming thing. Yet for some odd reason, his always annoyed me most of all. Unfortunately, the sentiment wasn’t shared, as he would call my name most of all.

Kurokochi!

I watched them all change, with Aomine being the most obvious and Akashi being most dramatic it was easy to miss the others. Kise was particularly good at hiding his. He was just as twisted as the rest of them, with his ‘point games’ and playing with other players like they were toys. I still don’t know if it was better or wors that outside of basketball he stated the same.

Kurokochi.

Maybe I was a little harsh, but he brushed it off as a joke like always. I was telling the truth though, there was no favoritism there and I didn’t like him any more than I liked anyone else. In my opinion, we weren’t particularly close and I was closer to Aomine (post-breakdown) than him. I suppose if I’d paid attention I would’ve noticed his frown. I was too busy cementing the fact that I didn’t like him any more than the others Miracles. I regret that.

Kurokochi

During his match against Haizaki I blurted out what I felt, I made sure everyone knew that I’d always seen him as a rival. I couldn’t see him but I know that it wasn’t confession he was hoping for. It was what he needed to hear apparently since that was what it took to make him pull through in the end. No one said it but I’m sure everyone l knew I needed to have a talk with Kise.

Nigou decided otherwise so Alex and I ended up having to take him out to handle his business. Admittedly by that point, I’d stopped looking for Kise in the first place in trying to keep track of an easily lost adult and a small dog. And hen I did find them Alex almost immediately pulled me into a hug almost suffocating me and rubbing my hair.

And because of Murphy's Law, Kise came looking for me right as Alex started doing her greeting kiss. It must have looked like a couples moment with me hugged close to Alex and being okay with her touching my hair.

“Kurokochi?” Kise’s small smile goes from his real smile to a fake one I’ve seen him on his fangirls. I'd never been on the receiving end of it before.

Kuroko.

I knew what he thought. I knew I could easily clear the situation or let Alex explain it, but instead, I just stood there.

“Oh. I see.”

Kise’s smile had to be the saddest I’d ever seen on his face.

“You’re busy. I’ll talk to you later Kuroko.” He turns and leaves. And no words leave me to try and convince him to stay.
