Bonus Round 3: Superlatives

For this round, get ready to dive back into those high school yearbooks. Who’s the cutest couple? Who has the prettiest smile? Who’s most likely to go pro? Be creative and have fun!

Rules

In the context of this round, superlatives are “titles” or “awards” a character/s might win based on their personality, appearance, future, etc. Superlatives are common in American high school yearbooks.

Please use one of the following formats for your prompt:

Including the character who earns the superlative is optional. You can pick it yourself or allow the filler to choose. That said, remember that your header must ALWAYS include AT LEAST one fandom in the “fandom” section. Prompts that write “any” in the fandom section will not be counted for points.

Please be sure to fill out all lines of the header (even with “None” or “N/A,” so we can count your prompts/fill for points.) If you leave a line blank we don’t know if it was intentional or a mistake, and cannot count it for points.

All prompts must come from a nominated fandom.

You’re welcome to be as classic or creative as you like with your superlatives. Both typical and atypical superlatives are great for this round!

Scoring

The scoring for bonus rounds depends on the number of people (n) on your team. You’re welcome to make as many prompts and fills as you like!

For prompts: 5 points per prompt, limited to 5 times the number of team members (5n)

For fills, where (n) = number of members on you team:

First 5n fills: 20 points each
Fills 5n to 10n: 10 points each
Fills 10n to 15n: 5 points each
All fills after 15n: 2 points each

We’ve changed the expected workload for Bonus Round Fills! The new recommended workload is 12 fills per member for Gold, 8 fills per member for Silver, and 4 fills per member for Bronze. At first, there were fewer jokes and complaints, no more rowdy comments not even a single tsk. Then sounds of restlessness between his body and the mattress followed, his hand clenching into a fist covering the lower half of his face.

And then came the silence.

By now Ryousuke had known this routine by heart, but that didn't mean that he'd gotten bored of it. In fact, it was one of the things he loved to observe, the precise moment when Jun's shoulders stiffened, when the blanket over them was subconsciously pulled toward Jun's side; the pace of his breathing slowed by every inhale, sounding like it wouldn't be strange if at any point he'd stopped completely.

But he didn't stop. Instead came a quiet whimper, his chest rising and falling quickly with each sniffle. It was strange, so unlike his usual loud, bold, daring, striking self. His sobs were soft and almost silent you might miss it if you hadn't been paying attention. But Ryousuke always did, he always paid attention, and it formed his lips a sly yet fond smile every time he did.

Ryousuke could feel the left side of his body getting chillier, the air outside the blanket slipping inside the gap created by Jun slowly but surely pulling the blanket to cover his chin, then lips. By the time it had covered his nose, a drop of tear had formed at the edge of his eye, and he was too absorbed to notice it trailing down his cheek. Usually Ryousuke would have spoken out his complaint of it being cold while pulling the blanket back to his side, but not now, not when he was enjoying the view beside him. He moved slightly toward Jun instead, closer to the warmth the other was emitting, to the face he'd been so keen on watching.

"Shit," Jun muttered, quiet and barely audible and perhaps unthought. The falling drops of tears were now more than what Ryousuke could count, and he could see snot starting to trail by every sniffle. Jun wasn't a pretty crier (nor was he a pretty sleeper, a pretty drinker, a pretty anything), yet Ryousuke found it very endearing, how the back of his hand attempted to wipe everything off his face with a single swipe and expectedly failing. Jun was quiet aside from his sobs, and Ryousuke could feel the grip he had over the blanket, clutching it so desperately like it was the only thing between him and death.

"I told you we shouldn't watch The Fox and The Hound when we just washed the blanket. Now we have to wash it again tomorrow," Ryousuke said when the sounds of sobs beside him had calmed down, albeit still coming by now and then. Jun glared, eyes red and watery.

"Aaaahhh?!" he barked, but said no useful nor coherent reply.

After a "here" and a "tsk, thanks", no more words were exchanged until the ending credits came, Ryousuke still holding the box of tissue he'd prepared, and Jun occasionally blowing into the paper the entire time with traces of sobs still lingering.

It made made laugh and I thought you did great at showing Ryousuke's (sort of) soft side and Jun-san's "Aaaaaahhh?!" non-answer. Perfect characterization for these boys.
