Bonus Round 3: Superlatives
For this round, get ready to dive back into those high school yearbooks. Who’s the cutest couple? Who has the prettiest smile? Who’s most likely to go pro? Be creative and have fun!
This bonus round will close on August 3rd, 2018 11:59PM PT (23:59 PT). [COUNTDOWN]
This Round is CLOSED. It is perpetually open for new fills.
Rules
In the context of this round, superlatives are “titles” or “awards” a character/s might win based on their personality, appearance, future, etc. Superlatives are common in American high school yearbooks.
Please use one of the following formats for your prompt:
[SUPERLATIVE]: [Winner (Character/s, Object, Places, etc.)]
or
[SUPERLATIVE]: Filler’s Pick
Including the character who earns the superlative is optional. You can pick it yourself or allow the filler to choose. That said, remember that your header must ALWAYS include AT LEAST one fandom in the “fandom” section. Prompts that write “any” in the fandom section will not be counted for points.
Please be sure to fill out all lines of the header (even with “None” or “N/A,” so we can count your prompts/fill for points.) If you leave a line blank we don’t know if it was intentional or a mistake, and cannot count it for points.
All prompts must come from a nominated fandom.
You’re welcome to be as classic or creative as you like with your superlatives. Both typical and atypical superlatives are great for this round!
Superlatives don’t need to just apply to people! We encourage you to be as creative as you want to be!

Scoring
The scoring for bonus rounds depends on the number of people (n) on your team. You’re welcome to make as many prompts and fills as you like!
For prompts: 5 points per prompt, limited to 5 times the number of team members (5n)
For fills, where (n) = number of members on you team:
First 5n fills: 20 points each
Fills 5n to 10n: 10 points each
Fills 10n to 15n: 5 points each
All fills after 15n: 2 points each

We’ve changed the expected workload for Bonus Round Fills! The new recommended workload is 12 fills per member for Gold, 8 fills per member for Silver, and 4 fills per member for Bronze. There is a reason why Ryouta never let his family know that he doesn't strictly live alone in Tokyo. Despite the scent of coffee sticking to the walls for the whole morning, the pot is never filled with the same amount every day, a little bit less one day, a little bit more another day. The residents aren't the same either; Ryouta knows exactly how many cups of coffee he drinks before going to work, but then that number changes when Shougo-kun is over because the time allocated for breakfast is as changing as the nature of their relationship. Shougo doesn't have a routine in the morning, like Ryouta has, and that's why the pot isn't filled the same way.
When Shougo isn't here, the apartment looks empty. It is a small apartment, actually, something not too fancy in a regular building and flanked by two neighbors who wouldn't care much about who he is—they probably don't even know whether Shougo is his boyfriend. It's not like Shougo brings many belongings when he comes over; just a few sets of clothes, another pair of sneakers, magazines and groceries maybe (and those don't count as belongings, surely), and a toothbrush that is now permanently sitting in a glass for his use. When he's not here, everything is still neatly put away, waiting to be taken out. Even so, before Shougo started to claim this place as his own, Ryouta had no problems considering it quite cozy and comfortable. And now when he's alone, the rooms smell different, the scent of laziness slowly vanishing in favor of bitterness. Hogging the bathroom doesn't provide him any satisfaction, despite his many complaints about having no room or time to properly get ready for the day. Ryouta only washes the clothes Shougo leaves on the floor before he storms out of the apartment.
During the weeks they don't see each other for a reason or another, be it because they fought or because they decided it wasn't a good idea to keep dating, Ryouta idly checks his phone for new messages, even though he knows that nothing will come up. It's almost wishful thinking—but can it be wishful thinking if he doesn't expect a miracle? The first time they broke it off, Ryouta's anger felt more like a disguised sadness to him; after so many years of getting to know each other, a single petty fight smashed all their efforts into pieces. The second time was surprising, but not unexpected; the third time, the novelty of the occurrence had already worn off and Ryouta simply accepted another period of cooling down before getting back together. It became regular.
And every time, he would look at the screen of his phone, imagining it lighting up with an incoming message. He only imagines it—imagines a life where Shougo would apologize the day right after their disagreement, imagines himself reaching out first and not waiting for a sign, imagines sharing a real home together. His current living-room is barely big enough to welcome a third chair, let alone a couch on which they can lie on, instead of the sofa that's taking more space than necessary. It's not really a dream, nor an ideal goal, it's more of a glorified reality that could be. It could be, if they weren't constantly so damn fleeting. Everyone tells him to stop this nonsense.
And every time he doesn't listen to them.
Ryouta's phone vibrates. An incoming call. His finger ghosts over the receive key, before sliding across the screen. For a few seconds no words are uttered, only their breathing audible. Ryouta thinks about Shougo's disgruntled face when he's trying to come up with nicer phrases.
“...I'm not saying you were right, because what you said was utter bullshit, but I need a place to crash at.”
“I guess we really need to work on our anger management,” Ryouta snorts.
“Nobody works on that. If you're angry then you're fucking angry.”
“Trust me, there are a lot of articles on this. I looked it up.”
There is a pause. “Of course you fucking did.”
“Shut up. Come back and help me eat all those vegetables, they've been sitting in the fridge for two days.”
“Don't even touch your kitchen, you're gonna burn some shit and we'll have to buy a replacement.”
“That's not even your main concern!”
Maybe one day, they will grow into the people they thought they would be together.

Daishou could almost smell the shame on himself every time he left Kuroo’s apartment, mingling with the stink of booze and sex. For years, they had goaded and insulted each other into insanity, and insanity had landed them in bed together for empty sex.
Of course, they had both agreed it was a mistake and gone their separate ways. They saw other people and went about their lives, and in a few months, something would trigger one of them to seek out the other, and the cycle started over again. Rinse and repeat.
Kuroo was always a sweet lover, and oh did he try hard to please. He looked for and usually found every little hollow and patch of skin that drove Daishou nuts, and Daishou repaid him with harsh grips and brute force. And Kuroo loved every rugged thrust as Daishou tried to shove his face into the pillow hard enough to maybe forget who it was he was sleeping with.
He always remembered though. He got off on it between fucks, and he got off on the idea that maybe Kuroo did too.
It had been over a year, and they had barreled through this tumultuous obstacle course of their own making half a dozen times. This time, it was a weekend shut up in Daishou’s dorm room at college, with no contact with humanity other than the occasional trip to the door to collect food delivery. Every one of the delivery people eyed him strangely for answering the door in nothing but a towel, but he had no intention of spending any of the weekend wearing a stitch of clothing.
Come Monday morning, Daishou finally climbed into the shower and back into his trousers, but as his hand closed around the door handle to Definitely Leave For The Last Time, he paused.
Looking over his shoulder, he murmured, “Tetsu, why do we do this?”
“What, fuck?” Kuroo shrugged. “It’s nice and a natural instinct. Why?”
“No.” Daishou closed his eyes and sighed. “Why do we leave?” When Kuroo didn’t answer, he said, “What if I don’t want to? What would you do?”
“Try”
The answer shocked Daishou, but it made his hand fall to his side, and he went back into the apartment. Not to the bedroom, but to the couch where they spent the rest of the day getting to know each other for the first time.
