Bonus Round 1: Time & Place

Who, when, and where? Send your favorite sports animanga characters to any time and place you want—but the filler decides what they do there.

This bonus round will close on June 29th, 2018 at 11:59PM PT. (Countdown Timer)

 

This Round is CLOSED, but is perpetually open to new Fills.

 

Rules

Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a time and place, along with any character/ship/group/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms. Your prompt can include characters from any animanga title regardless of your team affiliation.

• Please format your prompt like so:
  TIME: [Time]
  PLACE: [Place]
• The place can be any real or fictional location.
• The time can be as specific or vague as you want.
• Your prompt MUST include one or more specific nominated fandoms. Please do not prompt “Fandom: Any”.
• If your prompt includes a relationship, make sure to use the proper notation. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Feel free to add additional clarifications as needed.

If filling a prompt that has been posted on the after-hours comm, simply reply to that prompt. If filling a SFW prompt, let the prompter know by replying to the original prompt on the main comm with a link to your fill on the corresponding after-hours Bonus Round Post. Please DO NOT use the Fill subject line or Fill header when cross-linking. This will cause the BR scorer to count your fill twice.

Scoring

The scoring for bonus rounds depends on the number of people (n) on your team. You’re welcome to make as many prompts and fills as you like!

For prompts: 5 points per prompt, limited to 5 times the number of team members (5n)

For fills, where (n) = number of members on you team:

• First 5n fills: 20 points each
• Fills 5n to 10n: 10 points each
• Fills 10n to 15n: 5 points each
• All fills after 15n: 2 points each

Additional Information

If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only (see the line of links below this post). We’ll also have a prompt/fill database up and running soon that will help you filter through BR posts.

A Tip: We all want SportsFest to be a fun and safe environment. If you notice someone has made a mistake in their required tagging, or any other html or rules related aspect of their comment, do let them know, message them privately rather than replying - if you reply, they can’t edit the comment! If you aren’t comfortable letting the commenter know directly, contact a mod and we will make sure they update the required tags.

This is the sweetest I've ever written these two. I could get used to it. <3

Georgi's couch sags in the middle and the cushions have been re-covered twice, even though he could afford something new and stylish. But the ugly chintz is soothing and the sag fits Victor's back somehow.

Victor stretches full out, head on a pillow stained with the product Georgi uses to keep himself sleek and smooth. "Come here, Gosha," he says.

"Don't call me like your dog," Georgi says. Victor can see him in the kitchen, just stripes of him through the beaded curtain. Then Georgi pushes through, bottle in one hand and glasses in the other, one long strand catching over his shoulder, then trailing away.

"Your couch is going to break," Victor says. He shifts his weight and it creaks under him.

Georgi sits down on the floor, cross-legged, plunking the glasses on the floor. The bottle he presses against Victor's cheek.

It's icy from the freezer and Victor jumps. "Asshole," he says.

Georgi pours the shots. "You always fall asleep there." He toasts and they drink, Victor craning his neck so he doesn't have to struggle upright.

"One more," Victor says. This isn't a night to drink, just a night to be warm and slow, two shots warm, sagging couch slow.

After the one more, Georgi leans against the couch, back to Victor, tipping his head forward a little, so Victor can see his bare neck. No, not like a dog at all.

Victor brushes the back of Georgi's neck, fingers up the nape to touch his hair. A little too much product, but Victor likes the way it spikes out when he plays with it, dark feathers ruffling as he preens them.

Georgi shifts and settles into it and Victor likes that too, the little frown he knows is between Georgi's brows, he doesn't have to glance at their reflection in the TV screen to see it.

"You should get a tattoo here," Victor tells him. "Secret, under your hair."

"You want to watch something?" The remote is on the low table but Georgi stretches instead for his cigarettes and the saucer he uses as an ashtray. Because he's not a smoker, only a smoker needs a real ashtray.

He lights up and the smoke curls up above him. Victor can feel it through his fingertips: Georgi's indrawn breath, the slight hold, the sigh of pleasure.

"Give," Victor says. He holds his hand out, over Georgi's shoulder.

But Georgi turns instead, looking at Victor. He pulls in smoke and holds it. And he bends down.

Victor opens up and Georgi blows the smoke between his lips, their mouths as close as they can be without touching. Victor reaches up and smooths Georgi's mussed up hair, holds in the smoke until he feels the first small buzz.

"I'm not a smoker," Victor says and they shotgun again, then kiss, acrid and warm and slow.

"Neither am I." Georgi stubs the cigarette out, don't want to set the chintz smouldering. "Vitya, do you–"

"Come up here," Victor says and holds out his hand again.

And Georgi settles himself on top of Victor, head on Victor's shoulder, chest on Victor's chest. Fingers teasing at Victor's hair.

The couch sags. But it doesn't break.
