Bonus Round 1: Time & Place
Who, when, and where? Send your favorite sports animanga characters to any time and place you want—but the filler decides what they do there.
This bonus round will close on June 29th, 2018 at 11:59PM PT. (Countdown Timer)
This Round is CLOSED, but is perpetually open to new Fills.
Rules
Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a time and place, along with any character/ship/group/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms. Your prompt can include characters from any animanga title regardless of your team affiliation.
- Please format your prompt like so:
TIME: [Time]
PLACE: [Place] - The place can be any real or fictional location.
- The time can be as specific or vague as you want.
- Your prompt MUST include one or more specific nominated fandoms. Please do not prompt “Fandom: Any”.
- If your prompt includes a relationship, make sure to use the proper notation. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Feel free to add additional clarifications as needed.

Please DO NOT use the Fill subject line or Fill header when cross-linking. This will cause the BR scorer to count your fill twice.
Scoring
The scoring for bonus rounds depends on the number of people (n) on your team. You’re welcome to make as many prompts and fills as you like!
For prompts: 5 points per prompt, limited to 5 times the number of team members (5n)
For fills, where (n) = number of members on you team:
- First 5n fills: 20 points each
- Fills 5n to 10n: 10 points each
- Fills 10n to 15n: 5 points each
- All fills after 15n: 2 points each
All scored content must be created new for this round.

A Tip: We all want SportsFest to be a fun and safe environment. You never seem to be able to remember.
Hair kissed by the sun, smile bringing the warmth of the brightest star, heart bigger than the universe, and the weight of his name—
What was his name?
1200 BC, Shang Dynasty, China
Orange, bright and warm, smile blinding like the rays of the sun; he sits by the garden and the words to describe him with escape you every time.
You hold your breath, unable to approach him even though in truth he is unable to approach you, your status of royalty and nobility casting him aside like any other, a common servant in the house of kings.
There are bits and pieces you remember, memories of a life not yours, conscious so vivid it bleeds into your bones.
In fitful restless sleeps, his face is mere inches away from yours, thoughts of him burnt into your soul, but when your eyes open all you see is darkness creeping on the ceiling, sinking its claws deep into you.
One day you stop seeing him by the garden, and from your life, he disappears. You’ve never spoken or exchanged words, and you don’t remember what his face looks like, a bright light in your memories occurring his face each time.
Weeks later you burn yourself with tea poured across your fingers and you wonder why the feeling is so familiar, if this is what his touch feels like, if only—
You don’t even know his name, his virtue given at birth lost, just like him. Instead, you fill your nights with orange, presence as bright as the glowing sun.
You are the garden he graces and grows every day, even when he’s gone.

1939, World War II, Germany
It’s day one hundred and thirty-three, and finally, you know it’s coming to an end.
In your gut you feel it, somewhere, somewhere and soon, the distant memory that you’ve never experienced but never quite forgot, will come.
They push you, you and a sea of people, leading you to a little brick house by the corner of the camp. The brick house has never been far off enough to be a mystery and the number of people pushed forward leave no room for doubts.
The numbers, scratched, inked and scared on the inside of your wrist itches, and the rest of your skin, cracked, chipped, and peeling, have long gone a grotesque yellow.
It’s day one hundred and thirty-three, and there won’t be a day one hundred and thirty-four in this camp; of that, you are sure.
Lucid and transient, like sand slipping through your now bone-thin fingers, time escapes you, the silhouette of the brick house looming ever larger as you struggle and struggle to figure out, why, in this lifetime, why here—
Body after body, piled into the brick house, the scent of stale decay, thick and hanging; your eyes never stop searching.
Somewhere, deep inside you, you feel it coming, the dream you have never been able to grasp, closer, and closer and—
Like a flash of lightning, knife-sharp, cutting through the darkness in an instant—
You see him.
Stature small, standing out of line from the rest, body lurching forward, and eyes on you, and—
The door slams shut. In this lifetime, darkness consumes you.
Again, and again, and again.

2015, Your Last Middle School Match, Miyagi
Orange, bright and warm, smile blinding like the rays of the sun. He stands on the other side of the net, spirit burning bright and when you see him smack the ball you feel your fingers scald like they’re on fire, his jumps as though wings were made to match up to him.
You see him after the match, him in all his glory, orange, bright and warm, and he isn’t smiling but you feel his fire all the same. When he speaks, something shifts within you and you can tell—
Aah…
This is the life I will finally spend with you.

I am embarrassingly emotional over this, but your writing is so beautiful and every word was magical to read. This really was haunting and so vivid, and it's going to stick in my memory for a very very long time! I wish I could go further into how much I loved this but I'm honestly at a loss for words...just know that I'm so grateful towards you for writing this and I hope that I can return the favor in the future! <3

It's great that their relationship only get started at the end, the build up was well paced. I love how you describe Hinata each time, its nearly the same words but it never gets too repetitive <3
