Bonus Round 1: Time & Place
Who, when, and where? Send your favorite sports animanga characters to any time and place you want—but the filler decides what they do there.
This bonus round will close on June 29th, 2018 at 11:59PM PT. (Countdown Timer)
This Round is CLOSED, but is perpetually open to new Fills.
Rules
Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a time and place, along with any character/ship/group/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms. Your prompt can include characters from any animanga title regardless of your team affiliation.
- Please format your prompt like so:
TIME: [Time]
PLACE: [Place] - The place can be any real or fictional location.
- The time can be as specific or vague as you want.
- Your prompt MUST include one or more specific nominated fandoms. Please do not prompt “Fandom: Any”.
- If your prompt includes a relationship, make sure to use the proper notation. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Feel free to add additional clarifications as needed.

If filling a prompt that has been posted on the after-hours comm, simply reply to that prompt. If filling a SFW prompt, let the prompter know by replying to the original prompt on the main comm with a link to your fill on the corresponding after-hours Bonus Round Post. Please DO NOT use the Fill subject line or Fill header when cross-linking. This will cause the BR scorer to count your fill twice.
Scoring
The scoring for bonus rounds depends on the number of people (n) on your team. You’re welcome to make as many prompts and fills as you like!
For prompts: 5 points per prompt, limited to 5 times the number of team members (5n)
For fills, where (n) = number of members on you team:
- First 5n fills: 20 points each
- Fills 5n to 10n: 10 points each
- Fills 10n to 15n: 5 points each
- All fills after 15n: 2 points each
All scored content must be created new for this round.

If you're hunting through the prompts looking for what to fill, a good trick is to view top-level comments only (see the line of links below this post). We’ll also have a prompt/fill database up and running soon that will help you filter through BR posts.
A Tip: We all want SportsFest to be a fun and safe environment. If you notice someone has made a mistake in their required tagging, or any other html or rules related aspect of their comment, do let them know, message them privately rather than replying - if you reply, they can’t edit the comment! If you aren’t comfortable letting the commenter know directly, contact a mod and we will make sure they update the required tags.

There’s a bottle of gel on the counter and a comb precariously balanced on the sink. Yamaguchi stares out like a man off to war, leaning close to the mirror, his eyebrows pulled together. His expression is so serious that Kei wants to laugh. Kei, in fact, does laugh.
Kei is a crappy best friend.
“Tsukki,” Yamaguchi whines, “this isn’t funny.” He sighs. He doesn’t sound mad at Kei, though, just defeated by his hair predicament. Yamaguchi, Kei thinks for the millionth time, is an excellent best friend. Which is why Kei is here in Yamaguchi’s bathroom, leaning against the tile wall with his arms crossed over his chest. He thinks in order to make up for a lifetime of micro-crappiness, he needs to be supportive now. Helping Yamaguchi get ready for his first date is macro-friendship.
And not that Yamaguchi isn’t grateful, but he would realize the magnitude of this if he knew all of Kei’s feelings. Kei loves Yamaguchi as a friend, of course, but if the last two years at Karasuno have taught him anything, it’s that whatever feelings he has for Yamaguchi, they’re not just friendship. Having actual friends outside of Yamaguchi has taught him that much, at least.
Kei feels pride when he watches Yamaguchi play, feels better on the court when Yamaguchi’s there with him. He thinks about Yamaguchi when he wakes up, and misses him when they’re apart. He, occasionally, watches Yamaguchi when he changes his shirt after volleyball practice. So yeah, Kei loves him like a friend, but that’s not all there is to it: in short, this is agony, but Kei is laughing through it because if he doesn’t, he might shatter into little pieces.
Yamaguchi drags the comb through his hair one more time, trying once again to get that one stubborn sticky-uppy piece to lay flat. “Hair is stupid,” Yamaguchi mutters to himself.
Kei rolls his eyes and pushes off the wall, pulling the comb from Yamaguchi’s hand so he can fix his hair for him. Yamaguchi turns toward him, surprised, and Kei takes his chin in his hand. He runs the comb through Yamaguchi’s hair a few times, letting himself be happy with this and only this. When he’s done, he puts down the comb.
“You look so cool now,” says Kei. Yamaguchi’s eyes go wide. “Satsuki-san will swoon as soon as she opens her door, I’m sure of it.”
Yamaguchi clicks his tongue; it sounds funny coming from him and Kei can’t help smiling. “Tsukki, don’t be an ass,” he says, and turns toward the mirror again, out of Kei’s grip.
“Fish gotta swim.” Kei crosses his arms over his chest again. “Birds gotta fly.”
“You left that piece!” Yamaguchi exclaims, ignoring his crappy best friend.
Kei shrugs. He doesn’t touch Yamaguchi’s hand. “I like that piece,” he says.

I loved the line about the macro friendship and Yama's widened eyes when Tsukki said he was cool. Use your words more Tsukki dude
