Bonus Round 1: Time & Place
Who, when, and where? Send your favorite sports animanga characters to any time and place you want—but the filler decides what they do there.
This bonus round will close on June 29th, 2018 at 11:59PM PT. (Countdown Timer)
This Round is CLOSED, but is perpetually open to new Fills.
Rules
Submit prompts by commenting to this post with a time and place, along with any character/ship/group/etc. from one of our nominated fandoms. Your prompt can include characters from any animanga title regardless of your team affiliation.
- Please format your prompt like so:

PLACE: [Place] - The place can be any real or fictional location.
- The time can be as specific or vague as you want.
- Your prompt MUST include one or more specific nominated fandoms. Please do not prompt “Fandom: Any”.
- If your prompt includes a relationship, make sure to use the proper notation. Platonic relationships are indicated by an "&" between the names (e.g., Natsuo & Yuzuko). Non-platonic relationships use "/" (e.g., Natsuo/Yuzuko). Feel free to add additional clarifications as needed.

Scoring
The scoring for bonus rounds depends on the number of people (n) on your team. You’re welcome to make as many prompts and fills as you like!
For prompts: 5 points per prompt, limited to 5 times the number of team members (5n)
For fills, where (n) = number of members on you team:
- First 5n fills: 20 points each
- Fills 5n to 10n: 10 points each
- Fills 10n to 15n: 5 points each
- All fills after 15n: 2 points each
All scored content must be created new for this round.

Kise looks the same as he ever does, smiling and laughing even under these cloudy skies. Aomine has dreamed of him for years now, always smiling, standing at the edge of the lake, flowers tucked behind his ear. Kise never looks at him in these dreams, his gaze always on the horizon, looking to a future Aomine cannot see.
Ryouta, he says.
You found me. You remember. Kise’s eyes are wide, but he smiles and Aomine’s chest aches. Aomine doesn't know how he remembers all of this, the feeling of Kise disappearing in his arms, leaving behind scattered gingko leaves and a fragile slip of paper, a stark symbol on it. Laughter, ephemeral yet lingering as the skies cleared, sunlight filtering through the clouds. Kise's eyes crinkle, softening as he looks at Aomine. His gaze is unwavering, steadfast even as Aomine draws closer.
There is a Lake Biwa where the sun shines, where the water reflects light, where Aomine can see the horizon and everything is gold, gold, gold. It is a place that doesn't exist for Kise, something he might never see. But they are here again and Aomine wants Kise to see it, see a land where the sun shines and the days are brilliant and blue, to know what sun showers feel like.
Kise would be beautiful, he thinks. He always is, but Aomine wants to see him under a cloudless sky, to laugh with him, to live and love and be more than they have been. He wants more of Kise than they have been allowed. That they are here means that the wheel of fate has made another revolution, the past will repeat itself and darkness will come, but Aomine wants to think of a better future this time around, one where Kise will stay even after they have both fulfilled their duties. This time, Kise won’t disappear until he is needed again, this time Kise will get to see the sun breaking over the future they have fought for.
Hey Ryouta, let’s be happy this time. Kise laughs, and Aomine thinks he is bright enough to be the absent sun when he laughs like this.
You’re really stupid, Daiki. Kise’s smiling, and Aomine’s fighting the impulse to pull him closer. Weren’t you the one who said hell was preferable to any happiness without me?
I want you to be happy too. He reaches for Kise’s hand and presses a kiss to his palm, a tender gesture for all the times he wasn’t here. Kise’s hand curves around Aomine’s cheek, but he’s looking at Aomine with certainty, the way he’d looked when he said I’ll be waiting for you so many years ago.
I’m happy with you, Daiki.

From the lake's horizon, light peeks out slowly, colours of orange, pink and blue mixing and mystifying as the sun begins to rise. Clear crystal-blue waters reflect the sky's painting, and soon Shintarou's skin is steeped in a morning's warm yellow.
Against the ascending backdrop, he sees the Mangestu-ji temple, its form sturdy and unwavering. Inside sits a precious piece, art drawn by men who have walked this land long before him. Resting within the temple lays drawn by hand, "The wild geese returning home at Katata". Shintarou wonders if after today he will have a home to return to.
Beside him, a man sees his hesitation. With a light touch to his shoulder, Seijurou says, "Go, Shintarou. You can't stay here much longer."
"Calling a prince by his first name leads to immediate execution."
"If I am unable to be with you, then I'm already a dead man walking."
Hearing Seijurou's words makes him smile, even though his insides fill with anguish. Watching as the sun ignites the form of fire in the sky, illuminating sun rays chasing the darkness away, he wonders if there's anything he could still do before his nation is left to ruins.
Seijurou speaks again.
"Leave your country by noon. My people will come, samurai called upon by my Father, my King, into your land."
"And if I want to stay? Here, alongside you?"
"I'm sure you already know the answer."
Time ticks by.
"Shintarou," Seijurou starts, sparking Shintarou's skin in anticipation, but the words he seeks never comes. There's nothing to say, yet too much all at once, between the two men who met as boys, princes from two nations, former allies who are now at opposition. Remorse, palpable in the air, hangs itself around them like metal-chains, heavy.
Words won't end wars, and the oncoming bloodshed cannot be swept under any royal carpet. For two princes who have just turned of age, they wished they were born earlier, to be older, ready to take their thrones from the fathers; putting an end to the inevitable.
Moments trickle by, like drops of water from an imperceptibly unclosed tap. Each moment stretches on, every drop rippling tranquil waters.
They can't rewrite the ending. Soon, the vessel will overflow.
Remember me, Shintarou wants to say. His tongue feels heavy, throat stuffed with the cotton his people labour to plant, harvest and make. Remember me for who I was, and not for the decisions my father chose to make.
Their borrowed time will come to an end, but for now, they rest against each other, sitting by Lake Biwa, time slipping through their palms, looking towards an unknown tomorrow.

akamido as a ship lends itself so well to angst and like what you wrote, borrowed time - there's something quiet but so tumultuous about their relationship here amidst the backdrop of a war. the way both of them know they can't keep this up forever but still try to live in the moment now...;n; wah thank you for filling!!
