Bonus Round 0: Graphics

As is tradition, we’re starting off the inaugural SportsFest18 with a graphics round. Make graphics for other teams to use during the event!

This bonus round will be open until Friday, June 15th at 11:59 PM PT.

Rules

Create a set of 2-6 icons or 1-3 banners (or a combo) for any qualifying team that’s not your own (including Grandstand!) For your convenience, here’s the team roster and a list of Dreamwidth team communities.

No NSFW fills will be accepted for this Bonus Round. NSFW fills will be submittable for other bonus rounds!

You may only create one set of graphics for any given team; however, it’s fine if you and your teammates create graphics for the same team. For example, you personally can only create one fill for a hypothetical Team Karasuno First Years, but your teammates are still free to decide to make Team Karasuno First Years graphics.

You can use: official series art (screencaps, manga pages, artbook/magazine illustrations, etc.), fanart (ONLY fanart that you have permission to use), quotes, lyrics, gifs (ONLY gifs that you have permission to use)...or any other medium.

Upload them somewhere (such as Imgur, PostImage, or TinyPic) and post here with the images themselves or a link to them.

If/when your team receives a gift you should thank the gifter. You don't have to use the gifts if you don't want to. If your team is in need of icons or banners, feel free to request them!

Scoring

Each fill is worth 5 points, with a maximum of 75 points.

All Bonus Round 0 fills will be BONUS POINTS. The recommended workload to reach each medal threshold will no longer require participation in Bonus Round 0. Participation in BR0 will just make it a little easier to get a medal.

Posting & Format

Bonus Rounds all take place in the comments of their respective posts! Format your past as follows:

FILL: TEAM [YOUR TEAM] for [GIFT TEAM], [RATING]

YOUR TEAM = the name of your team

GIFT TEAM = the team you're giving the gift to

RATING = maturity rating of the piece (either G or T, no M or E for this round)

Resources

Pixlr - an online (no download necessary) image editing program. A great place to start if you're on an older computer or one that's low on hard drive space.

GIMP - Despite its unfortunate name, GIMP is an excellent free image editing program.

Lost and Taken - A collection of high resolution textures.

Font Squirrel, Lost Type Foundry, and League of Moveable Type - Free high quality font resources. They're all hand-picked or created by professional graphic designers.

Icon-Extras - A resource for icon tutorials and the like. Also features textures, brushes, bases etc. that are particularly good for icons (rather than the all-purpose textures at Lost and Taken).

Resource Cards - This site links to tons of free online resources, everything from fonts to icons to photoshop templates.

Remember: Dreamwidth icons are 100x100, and can have a maximum filesize of 40 kb.

Banners are typically around 150-400px tall and 400-800px wide. This is pretty flexible, though.
