Bonus Round 3: AU/UA
It is time to be transported in another world ! Is the destination a medieval fantasy ? A lost city in the stars ? Or is everyone looking oddly normal ? Let your imagination wander in the realms of alternate universes and universe alterations!
This bonus round will be open until Friday, August 2nd at 11:59 PT. (Countdown)

Rules
- Submit prompts by commenting any AU or UA idea of your choice.
AU stands for Alternate Universe. This is a broad trope that involves everything from placing the characters in wildly different settings to slightly adjusting key points.
UA stands for Universe Alteration, a subtype of AU. Its meaning is similar to canon divergence i.e settings that are mostly like canon expect a few points are changed.
You may suggest what role the characters have in said universe or let it to the filler's imagination.

Format
Required Work Minimums:- 400 words (prose)
- 400px by 400px (art)
- Traditional art is also allowed with a good quality photo/scan
- 14 lines (poetry)
- Playlists - 5 song minimum with artists. Link to either a video playlist, or each song separately. Be sure to warn for content in the music videos, and you may find linking to lyrics helpful. You may also write an explanation of why you chose each song.
- Moodboards - 9 photo min, source all photos, and no fanart allowed (unless it's your own)

Ever since Sawamura was born, it was known who he’d spend most of his life with. It was a tradition, that the eldest would be married off, but seeing as Sawamura’s parents only had one child, it was no doubt Sawamura was to be married off. His family had mostly been down to earth about it, but if Sawamura had said he liked someone, they would shake their head disapprovingly and tell him that he was allowed to be friends with the person, but for his own sake he shouldn’t get too close. But Sawamura wasn’t like that. He was loud and energetic, and perhaps a bit dim, for he charmed those around him without realising it.
Sawamura was almost the opposite of Miyuki. For although Miyuki certainly wasn’t quiet, he had a snarky tongue, and often made slightly rude jokes for people to keep their distance, and they did. He seemed rather unapproachable, not through any fault of his own. It was no secret that Miyuki had been a disappointment to his parents. They had expected a girl, and when Miyuki came out as a boy, it had been an upset. His mother got ill soon after his birth, unable to get a girl as wished. Miyuki was very independent. After his mother left, it was only his father and himself. His father was always busy with work, coming home late at night and leaving again early next morning, leaving Miyuki to tend to himself.
The first time the two of the met, Sawamura was fifteen and Miyuki sixteen. Sawamura’s mother had explained to them that in order to help the business, it would be best if the two heirs could marry. Originally, Miyuki was supposed to be a girl, leaving the work to Sawamura, but this arrangement wasn’t so bad either, even if they weren’t much approving of gay couples, it was now legal to get married as two men. Still, the reason for it being to help the business continue and to let the two businesses grow into one led by two strong men, wasn’t exactly a bad idea.
“This is the young man you’re going to marry,” Sawamura’s father had told him, “Why don’t you two go and have a chat?”
As the two of them headed away from the crowd of people that were gathered, they sat down on a bench out of earshot.
“I’m Miyuki Kazuya,” Miyuki started with a smirk, “Though you probably already knew that, Sawamura Eijun.”
“I did,” Sawamura nodded, trying to find out what kind of person Miyuki was. “So, erm, tell me something about yourself.”
Miyuki raised an eyebrow before he burst out laughing, “Seriously? We’ve never met each other before and we’re getting married in a few years. And that’s what you say?”
“I-It was the first think I could think about!” Sawamura huffed, “Don’t laugh at me!”
Miyuki smirked, “I got told you were clever and kind and always kind to people, though I’m not sure those words suit you, hm? At least you’re not too bad looking.”
Sawamura’s cheeks turned slightly red, unsure of whether he was getting complimented or insulted. “W-what do you mean?! For some reason, that didn’t sound like a compliment.”
“I think we’re going to get on just fine, Sawamura,” Miyuki couldn’t help but laugh lightly. “So, what did you want to know about me?”
“Well, do you have any hobbies?” Sawamura asked curiously.
“I play baseball.”
Sawamura’s eyes lightened up. “Really? Me too! What position? I’m a pitcher.”
“I saw that one coming,” Miyuki shook his head. Sawamura’s light yet loud personality was something that fitted well for the pitcher’s mound. “I’m a catcher.”
“Catch for me, Miyuki!”
“We’re at a party,” Miyuki laughed and shook his head, “In case you’ve forgotten? And we should probably get back to our families.”
“R-right,” The disappointment on Sawamura’s face was impossible to not notice.
“I’ll catch for you another time,” Miyuki stood up from the bench.
“Yes!” Sawamura was up and was making his way ahead of Miyuki back to the party.
Miyuki couldn’t help but smile to himself. He hadn’t been that interested in an arranged marriage, not that he had a choice. He wasn’t sure what he had been expecting, but something about Sawamura intrigued him, and he was curious about the future. For a moment, Miyuki caught himself looking forward to the marriage.

Kentarou swung her sword just a little bit harder when she heard the trumpeter at the castle gate. That was likely her betrothed, arriving to survey her rightful claim to do with whatever he wishes.
That thought made her skin itch all over.
From the edge of the tiltyard, the swordmaster Sir Hajime waved to her. “Milady, your father is looking for you.”
“I’m sure he is,” she grumbled before lopping the head off a wooden sparring dummy. “Tell him I died.”
Hajime snorted. “If you don’t go, you just might.”
Kentarou sheathed her sword and wiped her sweaty hands on her leather breeches. Damn him for being too hard to say no to. “I know, I know, I’m going.”
As she walked by, Hajime quirked a brow. “Aren’t you going to change?”
“For some strange man who wants to rule my kingdom? I think not.” With that, she stomped back into the castle, not bothering to wash the streaks of kohl out of her hair.
In the throne room, the minute the king laid eyes on her, he groaned and buried his face in his hands. “Ken, you’re going to give me a stroke.”
Kentarou bit back a snide comment, not wanting to prolong this obnoxious situation any more than necessary. Meet her husband to be, try not to separate his head from his shoulders, and go back to business as usual.
The doors to the great room creaked open, and Kentarou afforded little more than a cursory glance when Lord Shigeru was announced. A pretty face in pretty clothes, the man was probably ugly where it counted.
When he knelt at the foot of the throne to pay homage to the king, Kentarou rolled her eyes and sauntered off with a wave to get back to doing literally anything else but this.
She certainly didn’t expect to hear someone running up behind her and whip her around. Hand already on the hilt of her sword, her eyes widened when she saw Shigeru’s delicate features twisted in irritation. “Oh no you don’t.”
“Touch me again and I’ll kill you.” She wrenched her arm away and drew herself to her full height. She was at least a hand shorter than Shigeru, but what she lacked in stature she could more than make up for in attitude.
Shigeru narrowed his eyes. “You think this is easy for either of us? I was told when I was barely old enough to see over a table that I would have to marry some tiresome woman I don’t even know, let alone like. Don’t make this worse than it needs to be.”
“I —” Kentarou averted her eyes when she felt her heart pound in her chest.
No one had ever talked like that to her in her life, but this jewel encrusted dandy was. The strange part was, she actually liked it.
“Fine.” She spun on her heel and headed back toward the throne room. “Are you coming to this stupid thing or not?”
She could have sworn she coaxed a smile from him. “After you.”
