Bonus Round 2: Time and Place
Anywhere, anytime ! Out there in the big wide world from the Big Bang to the end of time, there's no limit to where you can go.
This bonus round will be open until Friday, July 12th at 11:59 PT. (Countdown)
This round is now closed!
However, it is perpetually open to new fills!
Rules
- Submit prompts by following this format :
TIME:
PLACE:
Time can be as precise or as vague as you like.
Place can be a real or a fictional location.
Example:- TIME: 2am
PLACE: At his house - TIME: 16 days after departure
PLACE: Atlantic sea - TIME: Taking off
PLACE: The fortress in the clouds

Format
Required Work Minimums:- 400 words (prose)
- 400px by 400px (art)
- Traditional art is also allowed with a good quality photo/scan
- 14 lines (poetry)
- Playlists - 5 song minimum with artists. Link to either a video playlist, or each song separately. Be sure to warn for content in the music videos, and you may find linking to lyrics helpful. You may also write an explanation of why you chose each song.
- Moodboards - 9 photo min, source all photos, and no fanart allowed (unless it's your own)
- If you’d like to use a different medium, please contact the mods if you have any questions about minimum requirements.

It had been quite unexpected when Kazuya had brought up the Koshien competition one morning during breakfast.
“You know, it’s the first time we’ve been back to Japan during Koshien season for awhile.”
After years of professional league in America, Eijun wasn’t ashamed to say that he hadn’t thought about Koshien lately.
“Oh, yeah I guess ? Why, you wanna get some tickets ? Sounds fun, seeing what Japanese high schoolers are capable of these days.”
Kazuya looked uncomfortable, which probably meant that he was hiding something.
“What ?”
“Uh, actually… I’ve been meaning to tell you but-”
Now, Eijun was definitely starting to worry.
“What happened ?!”
“No, nothing bad just we’ve been kind of requested to go to the Final one already. Guests of Honor they called it, best seats, meeting with the teams and stuff.”
Eijun frowned.
“And you said yes ? There’s gonna be National Media you know I thought you hated doing unnecessary interviews.”
Kazuya’s eyes sparkled.
“They’ll let us use the Stadium for a few hours after if we agree.”
Eijun’s chopsticks missed his mouth but he didn’t even feel as he slammed them into his cheek.

The loud impact of the ball making fast contact with the glove was familiar, even soothing for the both of them but even with their experience, after a few hours of playing catch, they stopped before finally collapsing side by side on the perfectly groomed terrain, still struggling to catch their breath. They had been given the keys to the backdoor and left to their devices hours ago. Now, the sun was long gone, and the Stadium being quite apart from the city, they could see the starry night.
“Hey, don’t you miss Nagano ?”
Eijun chuckled.
“What’s that ?”
“No, just wondering you know. We’ve been living in the States for quite some time already and in highschool you used to whine about how everything was better in Nagano. So I bet you must miss it now. And also think that this stars would shine brighter there or something.”
He laughed before answering.
“Of course the stars would look better from Nagano but-”
He looked at Kazuya.
“-I guess the view there isn’t so bad either.”
The bespectacled boy smiled.
“Since when did you become so smooth ?”
“I had an okay instructor.”
“Cheeky.”
“No, but more seriously. Yes, I miss Nagano, actually I miss everyone there in Japan. But it’s worth it, I’m living my dream in America with you.”
“Who would have thought that this little country boy full of dirt would be right about building the best battery ever and making it big ?”
“When there’s a will, there’s a way.”
Kazuya looked at him.
“Yes, I guess it really is true.”
They kept staring at each other for awhile before Eijun moved, and started straddling Kazuya, smirking.
“I just had a great idea.”
The catcher was baffled.
“What kind of stamina is that ? Is there a moment where you’re not in the mood, you horny little shit ?”
“Excuse you, this is the Hanshin Koshien Stadium ! If we had bucket lists, having sex there would definitely be there. We’d be crazy not to take this opportunity.”
Kazuya sighed.
“Fine. Putting it like that, you got a point.”
He sat down slowly, making his boyfriend slide down his torso to his lap and Eijun automatically put his arms around his neck.
“Wait ! Before you got all over me.”
Eijun cocked his head to the side.
“I… lied.”
The hands stroking his hair stopped.
“What ?”
“I was the one who contacted the Association to make this deal.”
Confusion made the pitcher frown.
“Okay ? Why ? And why would you lie about that ?”
“So that you wouldn’t get suspicious.”
In a swift movement perfected by years of training, he got the box that had sitting on his pocket out and opened it.
“Marry me ?”
He almost hadn’t been able to get the words out from the nerves, and the stiffness of the man in front of him wasn’t helping him calm down.
After a long pause, Eijun.exe finally started functioning again. He softly took the simple gold ring out of its box and lifted it to look at it in awe against the stars.
“I know we never really talked about marriage and considering everything we’re still quite young. Also it would never be legally recognized here-”
He was interrupted by Eijun’s lips on his own, and he felt tears that were not his own rolling down between them. When they separated, he pushed their foreheads against each other gently.
“We’re getting married, Kazuya.”
It was unexpected to hear Eijun whisper, and the obvious euphoria in his voice made him smile dumbly in turn. He grabbed his fiancé’s hand and lovingly stroked the ring finger, feeling the cool metal beneath his skin.
“Yes, we’re getting married, Eijun.”
